Bonnie Sullivan you were so loving June 4, 2015
I can remember you visiting when I was a child. As you sat and talked to mom, you let me snuggle up next to you and listen. I started playing with your curls which had a bit of hairspray on. They were crunchy but soft and I couldn't stop running my hands through them.when mom realized what I was doing, she told me to stop. You just laughed and said it was alright. You said it felt good and you could always fix your hair. It seemed such a big deal that you didn't mind. I love you and miss you.

Steve Cosentino To the Lady That was always full of passion May 18, 2015
Betty , From the first time that Tere brought me home you and Bill always made me and all our friends feel like we were
at home. I remember looking up words  in the big dictionary with you. You always made me laugh.
You once said Whats this Happy Hour thing. You should be Happy All Day. Thank You for that. You will always be in my heart and mind.
Patricia Gailey Niece May 17, 2015
To my dear, patient, kind, loving Aunt Betty, the wonderful memories of you come flooding back whenever I think of you.  I am so thankful that from childhood and the summers I spent with you and Uncle  Bill and the girls to the present I was blessed with you in my life and in the lives of my children and grandchildren.  I know you will be looking down on all of us from the stars that my mother used to tell me were the windows of Heaven and we will feel your love for all of us in our hearts.  For now I cry the tears of loss but deep inside I know you will be closer to me than ever.  I Love You, Patty
Peter Brown A child neighbor in Pittsburg May 17, 2015
Betty, you & Bill along with Tere, Sandy and Jo are some of my earliest memories from our first days in adjacent duplexes on Deems St. in Pittsburg.  We lived across the driveway from Benny & Jim Booker, and Dora the dog.  In '57 or '58 we moved out to West Pittsburg, only to find you had moved there across the street from us earlier.  Neighbors still!  I find myself in surprising tears looking at your photo on this page; it's exactly how I always remember you with your classic mom beauty, always welcoming and with your bright, sarcastic humor that matched Bill's so well.  Nan and I always felt welcome in your home, as though we had two families.  I watched Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein in fear from behind your sofa (did it really have the classic plastic cover, or do I imagine that?)  Then there were the wall-hanging ducks with gold metal wings, and the first color TV I ever saw.  You made us plate-sized pancakes saturated with syrup, along with wild boar hunted by Bill.  We and your kids ran through the summer nights until either you and Janie yelled us in for dinner, or we couldn't see anymore.  We played cowboys/cowgirls, debating over who was the fastest draw/best shot with our cap guns.  Carter & Bill worked together at US Steel, though I didn't know that for years, and now I have Machine Tech students doing summer internships there.  Sorry to run on, but this brought a flood of sweet memories.  Thanks for everything! Love, Peter
